Dave Bain
Dave Bain is an illustrator based in Bristol. He works across a range of traditional media with a strong emphasis on drawing, painting and screen-printing, producing work for a diverse portfolio of clients.
When he's not busy working on commissions, he loves to delve into old books and sketch out ideas, free from the constraints of a client brief. Much of the inspiration behind this personal artwork has gone back to a foundational love of ornithology and nature. Combining this with a keen interest in pattern, colour and optical illusions, Dave has developed series of images playing with these ideas.
